Villa Gelso
Gelso is a spacious villa, traditionally restored, with a welcoming atmosphere. It has a warmth inside with lovely curtains, comfortable sofas, large dining room and is furnished with some antiques of the owners family. It is bright and airy inside and sleeps 8 people with 4 bedrooms. The cottage in the grounds has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
Mediterranean herbs, fruit trees, panoramic views, BBQ and a secluded swimming pool makes your summer holiday complete.
Location: Located just inside the Sibillini National Park, Villa Gelso has stunning views and is on a quiet 'white' road in a peaceful rural location. The ever-changing scenery makes it a captivating place. Only 10 minutes by car from the village of Amandola, a village rich in history and nature, that takes its name from the almond tree. In the other direction, the medieval hill-top town of Sarnano.

Facilities: Ground floor: Large living room with sofa and fireplace; T.V. Stereo, music CD's DVD player with films. Spacious dining room with fully equipped kitchen (oven, fridge, dishwasher, toaster and kettle!)
Up 3 steps to: bathroom with shower; utility room with washing machine.
1 st floor: 1 twin bedded room; 3 double bedrooms with wonderful views and each individually furnished with antique furniture; large bathroom with bath.
Outside: Swimming pool (11 x 5 metres) also with panoramic views. BBQ area, and terrace for dining outside.

The Cottage: Two bedrooms and a bathroom with a large bath upstairs, downstairs you will find a little kitchen, a living room with a fireplace and another bathroom with a shower.
Local Food: The region has made a decided effort to move towards low impact organic farming methods, resulting in small farms producing top-quality produce, including cheeses, ham, salami, and olive oil.
Local markets sell fresh fruit and veg. We have plenty of rustic restaurants where children are always welcome; and a vegetarian option is now more widely available. Pizza is still made in wood ovens in the evenings, Italian ice cream and smiling people - what more could a visitor want?
