The Monti Sibillini National Park occupies a large part of Le Marche designated as a protected area. It offers astonishing landscapes with important flora and fauna. Its highest peak, Monte Vettore, reaches 8,132 ft above sea level. (2476 m)
Here you can enjoy birdwatching and catch glimpses of golden eagles, peregrine falcons and eagle owls. Trekking enthusiasts can take long walks through the woods and forests.
Make a booking to go horse riding, canoeing or mountain biking. Drive along pleasant winding routes to discover natural, historical and cultural wonders, as well as the typical food specialties of the region.

At Lake Fiastra take a cool swim in the hot months, Canoes and paddleboats are available for rent. Nearby, explore the many activities offered by the Park's Adventure Center, including a treetop ropes course, archery, boat cruises and orienteering. Rafting adventures are just an hour away, in the region of Umbria, and are suitable for people of all ages.

Take a hike along the beautiful Gola dell'Infernaccio near Montefortino. The Gorge opens the way to several tourist and hiking routes among the most famous of the entire Sibillini Mountains chain, such as the hidden waterfall, the source of the Tenna river (Capotenna) and the Hermitage of San Leonardo.
